Literature Through Music is run by Rob McGlade, whose previous works (as one half of Fathers Of Western Thought) include 'Sons Of Western Thought' (2011) - the project of a song a day for a year which was shown as a multimedia exhibition in The Market Studios in February 2012 and featured in The Irish Times.

 

'Re:Joyce - A Modern Musical Interpretation Of James Joyce's 4 Major Works' (2013) in association with The James Joyce Centre Dublin and performed all 4 works (Dubliners, A Portrait, Ulysses & Finnegans Wake) during Bloomsday Festival 2013 and Ulysses during Bloomsday Festival 2014 & Culture Night 2014.

 

'A Modern Musical Interpretation Of John B. Keane's The Crazy Wall' (2014) was commissioned by John B.'s daughter Joanna and performed in his hometown of Listowel summer 2014.

 

Having recently finished a modern musical interpretation of 'Othello' which appears on the Leaving Cert in June 2015, the next work in line for LTM is 'King Lear' which appears in 2016, then Hamlet, which appears in 2017.
